Tour de sport 1

Sportsmen (n Women) tend to have a good memory, especially of their own matches and wins. My first sport was handball, then indoor cricket. My first tour was a nearby taluka, Wada, where we had to play our district level matches to qualify for the zonal tournament. I was barely 11. We were primitive players, running around the ball like wild geese. Still, we managed one goal n got knocked out. I didn't play and cried the whole way back home. (Boo-hoo, why didn't u guys lemme play?) I was the goalkeeper(2nd) I still am, as a matter of fact. I think capturing has always been my speciality rather than hitting things in the right place, and shall always be. What I learnt that day ws that whoever your parents are, however much they earn, u r what u do, n what ur capable of. There's nothin' else to it. On a fair field, u cant cry n beg cos ur cuter, u show ur worth by doin' what's expected of you. And then, slowly, u start loving d game n respecting it, and praying for more such opportunities to come. But ur biggest prayer remains for a fair field n respect n recognition for ur game. You n yours come later, much later.

Nick of time

It's strange how time passes by so quickly.I've gotta prepare for my exams in Feb, and I've realised now that it's only seven months left. Now that's so horrible. Maybe I can manage, maybe I can't. Anyways. let's see what future holds for me. With all these hectic schedules n timetables, at least I deserve to be hopeful 'bout it.:))
